While on one level this seems like such a ridiculous question, very few people have no idea their true debt amount. Yet, so many bemoan their financial hardships, wondering how they could ever catch up. Of course they will never catch up if they do not know where the finish line is located! If you are one of those who do actually know, you probably do not need to read further. Have a great day! If, though, you were like me not so long ago thinking it’s a significant number but not knowing what that number was, read on.

 

Getting a grip on finances in 2012 starts here.

1. Take 30 minutes to look into every loan and credit debt you have right now and what the pay off is.

2. Look at your monthly expenses other than the above payments- this will be your insurance, utilities, gas, food, etc.- less your play money (coffee, movies, eating out, clothing). This is you survival number.

3. What do you spend on the nonessential items, we’ll call this your play money.

4. When do you want that debt in #1 paid off? Divide it by that many months.

5. Add #2+#3+#4 and you have your monthly income.

Now, close your eyes and imagine having this much income coming in. How would you feel? What would you do that you don’t do now? How does the thought of doing that make you feel? Take that feeling and start speaking it out loud- to yourself or a good friend- as if it already has happened. Here’s an example: “Man, I went to dinner the other night at this really great new local restaurant. You wouldn’t believe it, but the chef came over to meet us and we got to talking. Before long, many of the wait staff had come by, too, and were asking about yoga. Since the restaurant is closed on monday, 7 of them came to the monday night class to try it out! They were so excited chef promised to treat us to desert next time we came in!” Now, none of that has happened…yet. Just writing it out changed my energy vibrations. It felt good! The more I speak about they things I am enjoying since improving my economic status and the vibrations flow back to me. I have no clue how it will happen, but I am sure it will, and all I (and you) have to do is open our outlets to receive! Yummy. Yes, please! Go. Do your homework. Manifest. Feel. Believe. Expect. Receive. Mmmmm….
