Growing money

Do you have enough money? Can you ever have enough money? Can you have too much? Who defines that?

I have been thinking a lot about this since the Occupy Wall Street movement faded into the GOP campaign for President. What is the American Dream these days? Not too many decades ago, few people owned a house. That began to change in the 50′s. What was the American Dream before that? Now that so many have lost homes, what will the American Dream be now? Is it to be a millionaire? What would you do with a million dollars? I know I’d pay off all my bills, invest some, support some local charities, travel, and build my business. However, I have come to a place where I know money won’t buy me happiness, but being able to pay the bills sure eliminates some serious stress. Anything above and beyond that is just fun. I am also fortunate that I love what I do, so it never feels like work. There are no Jones’ for me to keep up with. If I like something enough to want it, that is simply because I like it and not because someone else has it. Coveting is greedy and destructive.

Redefine enough for yourself. Then, what would be ideal? How can you help empower those around you and within your circles of influence while living that ideal? Next, shift your mindset. You no longer need or want money, you have enough money and it flows to you and through you for the highest good of all, whatever that may be. Accept. Have gratitude for what you have. Stay present and your money will grow. Give the experiment 2 months and see what changes in your world.
