Where do you hurt?

You are probably quite aware of physical pain, a pain that is easy to pinpoint and often easy to describe. Do you know where you hurt inside, on a deeper level? The hurt that drives your choices on a very deep, subconscious level, that most people try to suppress and ignore. You may even be successful, to some degree, at these actions, however, the hurt remains, guides, shapes lives- our own and those around us.

Hurt people hurt.

They hurt themselves, others, both.  When we hurt, we generate energy that generates mental models of which we subconsciously generate situations to confirm those mental models. In other words, we get more of the same just to prove our beliefs correct. We may try to repress the hurt, however whatever we resist will persist. When the energy is stored in the body long enough, it creates pain and disease, both mental and physical.

 

At some point, you say “enough!” You decide you are tired of being tired, overweight, in lousy relationships or alone. You are tired of all the medications and all the side effects. You are tired of being in a rut, a dead end career, in a purposeless life. You know there is something more, yet you don’t know how to get there. Most importantly, you ready to do something about it.
